Aussies too drunk to remember sex

This naked truth about Aussies in the bedroom has been laid bare by dating site Oasis.com.

According to the survey of over 3,300 Australians, 1 in 5 have admitted to having sex but being too drunk to remember the details.

The findings revealed that men in particular are more prone to allowing alcohol to rob them of their memories than women, with 21 per cent compared to 16 per cent.

According to Dave Heysen of Oasis.com, they undertook this research to find out all they could about dating and relationships in Australia today.

“Part of the research was dedicated to exploring how Australians approach sexual relationships, and this has thrown up some pretty diverse trends,” he said.

For example, while 11 per cent of Australians say they have sex on the first date, there are 11 per cent that say they would wait (or did wait) until marriage to have sex.”

And when it comes to protection, most Australians appear to be playing it safe, but there may be some risky behavior going on as another key finding from the survey was that 36 per cent of Australians have had unprotected sex on a one-night stand.
