Stephanie Gilmore's Go-To Smoothie Recipe and Early-Morning Rituals
Stephanie Gilmore, six-time world surfing champion and ROXY ambassador, shares her morning routine with Yahoo7 Health
I wake up every day at: Around 6.00am.
I start every morning by: drinking a big glass of water and checking the surf.
My morning workout routine involves: a 30-minute surf followed by an hour in the gym, a mix of cardio, leg strength, core and upper body movements. After working out I’ll order my favourite healthy smoothie to refuel.
My go-to smoothie recipe includes: berries, Acai, protein, bee pollen, almond milk and coconut yoghurt .
For breakfast it's: eggs with spinach, garlic, chilli and quinoa.

After breakfast: I check the surf again.
My morning beauty routine involves: the ocean is wonderful but harsh on the skin, so hydration is the key for me. I use SHADE sunscreen daily, removed with a coconut oil at night to let my skin breathe. Once or twice a week, I'll also do a honey and avocado mask to rehydrate.
The products always in my gym bag: Aesop deodorant, EVO leave-in hair conditioner and sunscreen.
The best part of my morning is: When I put some music on after my morning surf.

Before walking out the door I always: check I have my phone.
After a long day, three things I always do before bed: Stretch, think and breathe.
