Australian actor Harry Hains has died after a health battle with mental illness and addiction.

American-born Jane has starred in several Aussie productions, most notably playing Diana Marshall’s in Neighbour’s in 2010 but also appearing in Blue Heelers and Offspring.

Harry had relocated to the US where he was pursuing a steady acting career as well as modelling through the Chiswick Modelling agency.

The 27-year-old also forayed into music, performing as Antiboy, an alt-pop artist who explored the world through a non-binary lense, challenging concepts of gender and genre.

The up-and-coming artist last shared to his social media accounts on January 1st with a bittersweet message celebrating the new decade.

“Let's all keep only moving forward, staying so present to enjoy each & every moment throughout this beautiful new BEGINNING,” he wrote alongside a photo of him and a friend in fancy dress.

Jane confirmed her son would be laid to rest in the US on January 12th.
