Hallmark+ Shows Off Extravagant Christmas Displays in New 'Ready, Set, Glow'
Who doesn't love Christmas lights? Even you don't celebrate the holiday, everyone can enjoy a festive Christmas light display, especially those families that go all out, creating a neighborhood spectacle. In the newest Hallmark+ series, Ready, Set, Glow, actor and host Wes Brown takes viewers to real homes and shares the stories behind these real-life winder wonderlands.
Here's everything we know about Ready, Set, Glow.
What is Ready, Set, Glow?
Viewers will visit some of the country’s most spectacular Christmas light displays and get to know the people and communities who put together these incredible events. Beyond the dazzling décor, we meet regular families who carry on—and build on— displays begun by their parents and grandparents, raise money to help their neighbors, and even help out with a holiday proposal. While we ooh and aah over the twinkling displays on a cold winter’s night, the stories of the people behind them will warm our hearts.

Who is the host of Ready, Set Glow?
Hallmark Channel alumnus Wes Brown is the host of Ready, Set, Glow.
Everyone passes the wow factor,” Brown told Pop Culture Planet. “None of this is normal. You can't just plug in lights. These people work for months and months. Some start in June. Their lights are only down for a handful of months out of the year before they start over. We saw everything from giant farms with a couple million lights to neighborhoods where every single house looked like one because everyone participated.”

What other reality shows does Hallmark+ have?
Hallmark+ has several reality shows they've introduced since the streaming service rebranding. Along with Ready, Set, Glow there is another holiday-inspired series called Finding Mr. Christmas where several male contestants compete for the top prize—a starring role in a Hallmark movie. The show is hosted by Jonathan Bennett with Melissa Peterman serving as a judge. The other feel-good reality series is Celebrations with Lacey Chabert. In it, Hallmark queen Lacey Chabert honors individuals who have made an impact in their communities.
Two new reality series will premiere in 2025. Small Town Setup takes host Ashley Williams to a proverbial small town as she attempts to make a Hallmark movie by giving parents the chance to play matchmaker for their adult kids who have moved away to the “big city” and return to their hometown, unaware the search for their happily ever after is happening.
Luke Macfarlane hosts Home Is Where the Heart Is, DIY home renovation show. Macfarlane is a craftsman himself and has built quite a few items including a crib for his daughter.
