Halle Berry slams Drake for using 'Slime You Out' photo without her permission: 'I thought better of him'
Halle Berry has some thoughts about Drake's latest single.
On Friday, the Grammy-winning rapper released a new track ahead of his upcoming album, For All the Dogs. A collaboration with SZA, "Slime You Out" features a very familiar face on its cover, partially hidden by Nickelodeon's signature green slime: it's a photo of Halle Berry getting slimed at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards. And based on Berry's reaction, she isn't thrilled that she made the cover.
Following the single's debut, Berry shaded Drake in an Instagram post that read, "Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… even if you're a woman!"
Though she didn't volunteer any specifics, fans were quick to make the connection thanks to the timing and questioned the source of her frustration. One commenter asked Berry her thoughts on the photo Drake used for his single, to which she addressed the reason for her post.
"Didn't get my permission," Berry wrote. "That's not cool I thought better of him!"

In a follow up, she continued, "Hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!"
Later, she commented, "It's about principles and integrity."
Representatives for Berry and Drake did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.
After teasing their upcoming collab in separate social media posts, both Drake and SZA shared posts featuring Berry as the single artwork. The single sees the duo trading grievances about past exes, with the titular slime symbolizing childish behavior in relationships: "I'm slimin' you for them kid choices you made /Slimin' you out, slimin' you out, slimin' you out."

Despite her frustration, Berry expressed no interest in legal action when one fan suggested that she "take em to court."
Berry responded, "I'm not interested in suing my people, I just wish these men out here would give women the respect we deserve."
