Hackers May Have Our Social Security Numbers, And The Internet's Hilarious Take Walks The Line Between Fury And Acceptance

Unfortunately what I'm about to tell you is something you've probably gotten used to hearing. A class action lawsuit is sparking the claim that every single US citizen's social security number was leaked in a data breach earlier this year. To be clear, NBC News reported that right now the claim is unsubstantiated, and there isn't a reason for panic since "many people's numbers have already been leaked in previous hacks."

Ok, now that we've had our fun, it's my job to remind you that, according to reports, the leak likely included partial and incorrect data, and the scale is unknown.
