In a statement released on Thursday, it was announced his upcoming show in Cairns, scheduled for May 10, and a show in Townsville on May 11, would be rescheduled.
It was revealed the musician tested positive for the virus on Thursday afternoon.
"I am absolutely gutted!" he said in the statement.
"I was so looking forward to performing in Cairns and Townsville next week. I am so sorry to disappoint my fans and I promise to do something even more special once I'm able to perform as a thank you for your patience and understanding."
Managing Director of TEG Live, Tim McGregor, said touring during the pandemic was certainly challenging.
"However, what will always remain a number one priority is the safety and wellbeing of our artists, fans, touring crew and venue staff," he said.
"I can assure you that we are working hard to confirm the rescheduled dates and our ticket holders will be notified shortly. We look forward to getting the show back on the road as soon as possible."
All other shows in the T.R.U.T.H tour are expected to go ahead as planned, with it due to resume on the Gold Coast on May 13.
Fans offered messages of support to Sebastian on his social media, with many wishing him a speedy recovery.
"Tours are important for you and fans but your health is far more important for you and your family. Take care," one well-wisher said.
"Your fans will put your health first because we appreciate you for many, many reasons. Take care and rest up Guy. Very best wishes," another commented.
"It’s all good, at the end of the day your health is priority over everything. We will still be here in Townsville when you are feeling better. Rest up and stay safe. Still recovering from prolonged covid and still unwell I know how he feels," a third added.
