Guy Fieri and Son Ryder 'Say Goodbye' to Family Dog Roxy: 'She Lived a Great Life'
The Food Network star has been a proud dog dad through the years to pups including Cowboy the German Shepherd and Cash the French Bulldog
Guy Fieri and his family are mourning the loss of their four-legged friend.
On Sunday, Oct. 6, Guy, 56, and his son Ryder, 18, posted on their Instagram Stories about the death of their family's dog Roxy, their beloved mastiff. "R.I.P. to my best friend," Ryder wrote, sharing a picture of him as a kid lying next to Roxy's dog bed. "Love you Rox."
The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host reshared the image with his own message.
"So proud of my son @_ryderfieri for flying home for 5 hours to say goodbye to his dog Roxy," the chef wrote. Ryder is currently in his freshman year at San Diego State University studying hospitality.
"She lived a great life with our family," Guy added. "We are going to miss her."
Guy is a dog dad to several pups and often shows them off on Instagram. Cash the French Bulldog even got a special birthday shoutout in 2023.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wing man, Smokey’s co conspirator, The hiking machine, Sir snores a lot, Protector of the castle, Tv star, Pig Pig, $$$ CASH $$$ Happy 3rd Birthday,” the caption of the Instagram post reads, calling out Smokey the chihuahua.
Cowboy was also part of the Fieri family. The German Shepherd, died in early 2023. "Today is the saddest day in the Fieri family," the television host wrote on X (formerly Twitter) alongside a picture of the pup.
"We lost our COWBOY today. He was one a kind and brought so much love and energy to our family"

In addition to the dogs, Guy also keeps hundreds of goats on his ranch. The Washington Post reported in 2020 that he had 400 of them on his property to keep weeds under control.
