Guy Fieri Shows the Memorial He Keeps in His Home for His Late Sister Morgan
Guy Fieri's younger sister Morgan died in 2011 from metastatic melanoma
Guy Fieri is honoring his late sister’s birthday, and showing how he honors her every day.
In a video shared on Instagram, the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host wished his younger sister Morgan, who died of metastatic melanoma in 2011, a posthumous birthday.
“So happy birthday to my little sister Morgan,” the celebrity chef said on Sept. 27, which would have been Morgan’s 52nd birthday. He then panned the camera over to a piece of artwork on his wall. “This is a memorial that I have here in my house," he said.
The mosaic artwork is of a woman with long red hair like Morgan. Pieces of floral plates and the words “Namaste Morgan” surround her.
Fieri explained that the ceramic pieces that make up the artwork have sentimental and familial value, too. “All of these plates were part of our dish set from our family,” he said.
The visual isn’t just found in his home, it is something he carries with him always as a tattoo on his forearm.
“Celebrate her every day, particularly on her birthday. Love you, Morgan,” he signed off the video.

Along with his two sons, Hunter, 28, and Ryder, 18, the Food Network star and his wife, Lori, have helped raise their nephew Jules, 24, since Morgan died.
Fieri regularly posts in honor of Morgan and has spoken about the spiritual connection he continues to feel with her.

In October 2022, Fieri spoke to Ross Mathews about the power of psychic readings and how he got in touch with his late friend Carl Ruiz and his sister.
He told Mathews that several late loved ones spoke during the reading, including Ruiz, but he didn't sense his sister immediately. "I said, 'Where's my sister?' and [the medium] goes, 'Your sister has been here the whole time. Your sister is actually a little concerned. She talks to you every day, she says you guys are in a constant level of communication,'" he recalled.
More recently, the cookbook author detailed speaking to his late father, who died in January at 81, through a medium. He was blown away by the medium's personal knowledge of their relationship.
“And she starts depicting to me things that nobody in the world [would] know what's going on. I mean it is goosebump city what I'm telling you,” he said.
