There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

Outside of her (reportedly) soon-to-be reprised role as Miranda Priestly in "The Devil Wears Prada," Meryl Streep has long been a master of elegant and refined style, wearing a mix of quiet and bold-yet-timeless pieces from the most respected designers.

Her outfit at the Golden Globes in 2003 is a perfect example of this because, more than 20 years later, it still provides inspiration. Streep paired sheer black trousers with a V-neck diamanté jacket by Giorgio Armani (per British Vogue). The top's classic silhouette and dazzling details give it an enduring power. It also makes this ensemble so Streep: She literally radiated while accepting an award for her performance in "Adaptation."

Streep added a dose of fun to the mature look with purple-lensed sunglasses (quirky frames are one of her signature accessories) and pearl drop earrings. The actor is reportedly starring in a forthcoming "The Devil Wears Prada" sequel, and we're already dreaming of the press tour... and how many more great outfits she'd wear and etch into the pages of fashion history.
