Goodbye leaves, hello clean: This popular electric Greenworks mower is over $120 off

Gas-like power without the hassle, plus it’s compatible with 75+ tools from the brand.

Let’s face it: mowing the lawn isn’t anyone’s idea of a good time. But if you’re going to tackle the backyard jungle — and the piles of leaves that October’s tossing down — you might as well go green and leave the fumes (and noise) behind. Enter the Greenworks 80V Brushless Cordless Lawn Mower, the electric beast that says, “Yes, I’m powerful, and no, I don’t need gas to prove it.” And with a current price of $374 (that’s 25% off the $500 MSRP) this beast not only mows and mulches leaves into oblivion, but will leave your lawn (and your wallet) lush with green this fall.

This mower comes with two 80V batteries, which means you can tackle up to an hour of yard work on a single charge.

Why is this a good deal? 💰

At $374, this Greenworks all-electric mower offers a significantly lower price point than other 80V electric models. It runs for up to an hour on two fully charged 2.0Ah batteries — both included, along with a rapid charger. Plus, the batteries are compatible with over 75 of the brand's other tools, making this combo an excellent value if you're considering the Greenworks ecosystem.

Why do I need this? 🤔

Gas-powered lawn tools are so last decade. They're loud, messy, require yanking on a pull cord to start and make you end up smelling like a gas station every time you mow the lawn. Electric lawn tools are better in practically every single way. They’re quieter, cleaner and don’t require a degree in small engine repair to keep them running. You won’t be waking up the entire neighborhood every Saturday morning and you can finally ditch the trip to the pump. Plus, with the torque these electric motors can crank out, you’re still getting all of that gas-like power.

This mower features a brushless motor and a 21-inch cutting deck, allowing you to tackle lawns up to a half-acre in size without needing to swap or recharge batteries. Its 3-in-1 system supports mulching, rear-bagging and side discharge, while the collapsible handles enable vertical storage, saving space in your garage. With an IPX4 waterproof rating, it can handle a bit of wet weather, and its height adjusts to seven different positions to suit your lawn’s needs. And, of course, it has a convenient push-button start.

So, keep your gas cans in the garage (or garbage?) where they belong — there’s a new, less fussy way to manicure your lawn.

What reviewers say 💬

With nearly 2,000 five-star ratings, there are more than a few electric lawn mower fans out there.

Pros 👍

One user found that the Greenworks mower not only kept up with their gas-powered one, but performed even better: "I mow my yard faster than with my gas mower. Cuts the grass beautifully," they shared.

Another happy owner liked how the adjustable height only requires one lever to change. "One handle sets ALL FOUR WHEELS (welcome to the 21st century!) unlike my old mower which required a height adjustment lever for each wheel."

Like other electric mowers, the Greenworks is much lighter weight than the gas-powered variety. "Much lighter, and easier to maneuver than a gas mower but with plenty of power to cut tall, fast-growing fescue in the spring," praised another five-star reviewer.

Cons 👎

While most reviews were positive, a few users found features like the bag size and battery to be lacking in some situations. "The grass bag is a little smaller than I'm used to, but not by much," said one reviewer, who still gave the Greenworks a five-star rating despite its drawbacks.

"The battery does run down faster in heavy grass, but still performs well in heavier grass. I could push pretty steadily until the bag filled up," shared the same user.

The push-button start couldn't be easier to use. And with the torque this electric motor can crank out, you’re still getting all of that gas-like power with none of the mess.
