‘Ghosts’: Nat Faxon Joins CBS Sitcom For One Episode As Alexander Hamilton

Isaac Higgintoot’s arch nemesis might be making an appearance at Woodstone Mansion next year.

Nat Faxon is joining the CBS sitcom for one very special episode to play Alexander Hamilton, the founding father who was Isaac’s rival in life and obsession in death, the network revealed Thursday.

CBS says the episode is set to air in early 2025. No word yet on how, exactly, the residents at Woodstone will encounter the famous Federalist.

Hamilton’s appearance will be a big payoff for fans, who have heard all about Isaac’s disdain for him over the past four seasons on Ghosts. While Hamilton’s memory has haunted Isaac since the Revolutionary War, he only recently learned that the first Secretary of the Treasury was a household name.

Ghosts has slowly been expanding its world over four seasons to introduce its stalwart spirits to a whole host of new phantoms. The beginning of Season 4 largely revolved around the introduction of the Puritan ghost Patience (Mary Holland), who, coincidentally, also had friction with Isaac.

Ghosts stars McIver alongside Utkarsh Ambudkar as a couple that inherits a rundown mansion in upstate New York that they decide to convert into a bed & breakfast. After a near-death experience, McIver’s character is suddenly able to see the ghosts that inhabit the house. Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky and Devan Chandler Long also star.

The series is executive produced by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, who also serve as the showrunners.

There are three more new episodes of Ghosts this December, including a one-hour holiday special on December 19. Ghosts airs Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.
