Posting on the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook group, a person shared her latest sleeping hack and caused an online frenzy.

"Got myself one of the sleep pods," she said, sharing a photo of Rebel Sport's Sleepwell Sleep Compression Blanket.

"They’re an alternative to weighted blankets. Awesome price.

"Obviously not for everyone, but some of us with anxiety and insomnia need a little help getting to sleep."

The blanket, on sale for $49.99 from $79.99, is a tight-fitting, stretchy cocoon to help people fall asleep while being held, compact and cosy.
