Matthew Perry, 51, has called off his engagement with Molly Hurwitz, 29, seven months after popping the question.
"Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them," he told the publication. "I wish Molly the best."
The pair began dating in 2018 and got engaged in November last year.
At the time, Matthew told the publication, "I decided to get engaged."
"Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
It comes after the highly anticipated reunion aired last week with all six original stars returning for the special.
It was only the second time since the show's finale 17 years ago that Matthew, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer were all together.
Matthew surprised his co-stars during the reunion when he confessed he sometimes got so nervous filming in front of the live audience that he felt like he was "going to die".
It came after the other cast spoke of how they found filming in front of the live audience in the studio.
Matthew said he felt extra pressure to make people laugh and would "freak out" if a joke didn't land.
"To me, I felt like I was going to die if they didn't laugh," he said. "It's not healthy, for sure, but I would sometimes say a line and they wouldn't laugh and I would sweat and just go into convulsions if I didn't get the laugh I was supposed to get. I would freak out."
Lisa, was seemingly shocked by the revelation, replying: "You didn't tell us that. I don't remember you ever saying that."
Matthew admitted: "I felt that every single night."
Fans express concerns over Matthew's appearance
Fans of Friends had previously expressed some concerns for Matthew, as he appeared quite emotional in one of the preview teaser trailers released last week.
A few even called his appearance 'worrying' online, with one Twitter user remarking: "Is Matthew Perry ok? His speech is so slurred."
However, an insider clarified afterwards that Matthew Perry slurred his words because he recently had some dental work done.
"Members of his team said that he had an emergency tooth procedure that day," a source told The Sun.
"He had been in pain from what we understand, which caused the slurred speech. Obviously, no one wants to film after a procedure, but it happened. The feeling was one of huge sympathy for Matthew."
The insider added that Matthew reportedly "told those around him that he is sober, and there is no need to worry".
The star has long been open about his battle with drug and alcohol addiction.
