Fortune cats for a more huat (and healthy!) year
Maneki Neko is a common sight in many traditional storefronts. These decorations are called maneki neko in Japan, and is often referred to as fortune cats elsewhere. Especially for business owners, placing a fortune cat near the cashier, door or place where they work, is said to attract wealth into the shop.
Luckily for us modernists who would still like to indulge in traditions of yesteryears, the fortune cats now can be drastically simpler or showier than the ones available in the past, depending on our preferences. Here's a list to hopefully bring you more wealth, and maybe joy by simply looking at them.
