Grandmother leaves voicemail admitting to eating the 'last donut'

A grandmother in the US has left an adorable voicemail admitting to eating her grandson's "last donut".

In the voicemail, the woman starts the message by letting her grandson, Chris, know that "this is not an emergency or anything urgent like that".

Then the confession begins.

"I got up to get my watermelon and the box was there and I looked to see if there was a donut left," she said. "I saw the strawberry stuff coming out and I took that up with my finger... then I took a quarter off... and from there I ate the whole thing".

The grandmother continues: "I would advise you if you want some more donuts get some today and keep them in you bedroom because I am not to be trusted with sweets".
