Bizarre Filipino fast-food joint set to take over Australia

It's common knowledge that there's no shortage of fast-food restaurants in Australia, yet the Philippines number one fast-food joint, Jollibee, has announced they will be setting up shop here - and just check out their bizarre menu.

Hailed as the Philippines answer to McDonald's, Jollibee will reportedly open in Australia in 2017 and will be like no other fast-food chain we've ever seen before.

The much-loved restaurant, which currently operates about 1000 stores across Asia, will be offering up a fried rice, egg and randomly fried chicken breakfast, steak burgers with spring rolls, rice and an egg and spaghetti bolognese with chips.

For desert, diners can expect to choose from a chick peas, coconut and ice delight or light, fluffy pancakes with Reese's bits and chocolate syrup.
