Spinach contains a cross section of phytonutrients and antioxidants including vitamin K, coenzyme Q10, folate, iron, and the carotenoids - lutein, zeaxanthin. Spinach is also an excellent source of vitamin C, beta carotene and vitamin E. An average serve of nature’s finest super food provides 5 mg of vitamin C, which is an eighth of the recommended daily intake. It is also full of antioxidants.
