• Off the menu: 10 foods you should never eat again

Fast food

It might seem like the easy option, but even food listed on the healthy choices menu at your local McDonald’s is packed with artificial colours, flavours and preservatives that your body will hate you for. Not to mention the fact that ground beef combines the meat from many different animals, exposing you to disease-causing bacteria. Resist the temptation of convenience and whip up your own healthy burger at home using grass-fed ground beef.

Well, we all know what THE experts say - everything is good in moderation!! Therefore you can eat whatever you like as long as you don't over-do it. PLUS when eating at McDonald's, all you basically need to do is study the nutrition information and you'll be as good as gold. Looking at this picture of the Big Mac and fries tells me it's now time for lunch - see you all at McDonald's!!

It would seem to me that any foods that are dangerous to health would be off the shelves PDQ - what manufacturer wants to shell out on compensation claims? As for the 'chemicals' in food - water is H20, lemons contain citric acid, and fruits contain copper and iron, both chemical elements.

That statement about being exposed to disease causing bacteria is just nonsense as the heat preparation of the food will destroy any such pathogens, and quite frankly McDonald's should take the authors of that ridiculous comment to court and get that retracted.
