Directed by Giri/Haji's Julian Farino, the action thriller will see the pair play a former couple who find themselves involved in a high-stakes spy mission.
Along with a newly released image, it has been confirmed that the movie will arrive on the streaming service on August 16.
Berry took to Instagram to tease the release of the film, saying: "It's coming! I'm so excited to share a first look at my new movie with @markwahlberg called THE UNION!
"Imagine if your high school sweetheart recruited you on a high stakes spy mission... Need I say more? Coming to @Netflix August 16."
The film's official synopsis reads: "Mike (Wahlberg), a down-to-earth construction worker from Jersey, is quickly thrust into the world of super spies and secret agents when his high school ex-girlfriend Roxanne (Berry) recruits him on a high-stakes U.S. intelligence mission."
As well as Wahlberg and Berry, The Union boasts a star-studded cast that includes J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Jessica De Gouw (The Crown), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Suicide Squad), Alice Lee (Brittany Runs a Marathon) and Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children).
Patch Darragh (Succession), Fahim Fazli (Iron Man), Alex Brightman (Hard Rock Life), James McMenamin (Orange is the New Black), Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Ben Bishop (The Jungle Book) will also make appearances in the film.
The Union is part of a huge line-up of new films coming to Netflix this year. They include action thriller Carry-On starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman, and fantasy Damsel, which has as the lead.
The Union will be released on Netflix on August 16.
