With just days till Princess Eugenie’s wedding, her mother Sarah Ferguson has shared an exciting announcement of her own.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 58-year-old, who is involved with various charity projects, said she’d be launching a Street Child appeal for Indonesia.
“As a mother, I have found the stories and scenes of children affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia utterly heartbreaking,” she wrote.
“They need our help. That’s why we are launching a special appeal – please support it if you can.”
Although she is no longer a member of the royal family, Sarah’s patronages include Teenage Cancer Trust, Children in Crisis and Street Child.
She is also the author of children’s books (including Budgie The Little Helicopter) as well as works on Queen Victoria and autobiographies.
Now the countdown is on till the wedding of her younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, whom she had with her ex, Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
Royal spectators will be looking forward to a glimpse of Fergie at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s nuptials which will take place at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on Friday.
