Fears for Harry Potter star Tom Felton as he collapses during Ryder Cup

There were fears for Harry Potter star Tom Felton after he collapsed during a celebrity golf match ahead of the Ryder Cup.

Tom, who turned 34 on Wednesday, played Draco Malfoy in the wildly popular Harry Potter film franchise.

Photos from the course show Tom sitting down on the grass and looking unsteady on his feet, before being laid down and taken away on a cart in Wisconsin for medical attention.

Tom was playing at the event with fellow stars Teemu Selanne, Mandy Rose, Toni Kukoc, Mike Eruzione, Stephanie Szostak, A.J. Hawk, Dan Jansen, Alessandro Del Piero, Kelly Slater and Sasha Vujacic.

The actor’s camp have not updated fans on his condition, however, an Instagram story posted to his social media page links out to limited edition birthday boy merch from the Tom Felton Shop.

Tom turned 34 this week, taking to his Instagram to post a black and white photo of himself alongside the caption: "33 years done - good lord it’s been so much fun getting here - yet, somehow, I still feel the best is yet to come - thank you all for your love , support & sense of humour - let’s keep a good thing going - to the next 33.”

Tom was 14-years-old when he was catapulted into fame after starring as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series.

He put together a virtual cast reunion last year, which saw Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and some more beloved Harry Potter stars come together during the coronavirus pandemic.
