The order in the undefended petition for divorce was granted on the grounds of the "unreasonable behaviour" of 31-year-old Stone, the mother of the couple's two-year-old son Alfred.

Court papers made public said the behaviour of model Stone, who married Walliams in 2010, was "continuing".

Walliams, who brought the proceedings under his real name of Williams, and Stone began a trial separation in March.

They were the last on a list of 21 couples to be granted "quickie" divorces on Thursday.

The pair started dating in the latter part of 2009 and announced their engagement in January 2010.

They got married four months later at a ceremony held at London's Claridge's hotel.

In December 2012, they announced Stone was pregnant with their first child. She had their son, Alfred, in May 2013.

Walliams made a name for himself alongside Lucas in the BBC One comedy sketch show, Little Britain.

He went on to become a judge on Britain's Got Talent. He has also released several successful children's books.
