Grace Coddington Doesn't Think Kendall Jenner Is A Great Model

Grace Coddington isn't "in love" with Kendall Jenner.

The 75-year-old creative director at large of American Vogue magazine - who has worked with the publication for almost three decades - has admitted she has partnered with the 20-year-old and was not blown away by the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star as a model, although she thinks she is a "lovely girl".

Speaking at the Vogue 100 Festival on Monday about her thoughts on the face of the beauty giant Esté Lauder, the red headed fashion icon said: "I've worked with Kendall. I didn't fall in love with her.

"I didn't have time. It was so quick. It's much faster and you don't have time to have a relationship with these girls.

"By the time I worked with Kendall she was already really famous.

"She was a lovely girl."

Grace has revealed she looks for budding cover girls who are "hungrier" to break the fashion industry.

Speaking about the most desirable qualities in starlets, the stylist said: "It's much better when the girls are hungrier, and by hungrier I don't mean anorexic, I mean eager.

"When they are eager, that's when you have a relationship."

Grace has previously admitted she is annoyed by the likes of Kendall and Gigi Hadid who became successful because of social media and how many followers they have.

Speaking previously, she said: "It sort of annoyed me at first, but I do think both Gigi and Kendall are really good models, and that they could've [gotten where they are] without all that Instagram.

"It's just now that everybody is judged by how many followers they have and things like that - which is a shame. It's almost like, if you ram it down your throat, I find it unattractive."

Meanwhile, Grace has launched her first fragrance called Grace by Grace.
