Eleanor Pendleton is one of the busiest beauty editors around. She’s not only a coveted street style star, the 20-something also runs her own digital magazine, Gritty Pretty.

So when we spotted her at fashion week, we knew she’d be the perfect person to give us a rundown on this season’s upcoming beauty trends.

“We’re seeing a lot of understated hair,” Pendleton told Yahoo7’s guest editor, Nikki Phillips.

“Simple things like the ponytail have been reinvented this season – they’re being worn low at the nape of the neck and knotted.

“We’re also seeing a lot of spider lashes, which have been quite fun.”

As for her own beauty essentials, Pendleton says hydrating products are key.

“I swear by the SK-II face mist and Lanolips 101,” she told us.
