Sir Elton John And Lady Gaga To Launch An Exclusive Fashion Line

Sir Elton John and Lady Gaga are set to launch a limited edition fashion range.

The 68-year-old music legend and the 30-year-old singer - Stefani Germanotta - have joined forces with the 'Born This Way' hitmaker's sister Natali Germanotta and fashion designer Brandon Maxwell on a limited edition clothing and accessories line called Love Bravery for the American department store Macy's.

Speaking to website WWD about their collaboration, the 'Blue Wonderful' musician said: "I love the idea of fusing who you are on the inside - your passions and dreams - with what you wear on the outside.

"Love Bravery is about the compassion on the inside to understand someone's fears, and the bravery on the outside to stand up for them, and for yourself: to accept others for who they are and to be who you want to be. It's what I've tried to do in my life, my career and with the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and it's a passion Lady Gaga and I share. So I'm thrilled we are collaborating on this project and delighted Macy's understood our dream to connect with people this way."

Whilst the blonde beauty added: "It's an honor to team up with Sir Elton John to create this line with Macy's,"

"We need to make the world a kinder and braver place."

The duo's range will feature bold printed crop tops, monochrome T-shirts, as well as outerwear, beanies, water bottles and skateboards, with elements of their music influence emblazoned on the items in the form of monster claw patches symbolic to Lady Gaga, sunglasses, piano keys and microphones.

The line will be sold exclusively online on Saturday and in store May 9, which will see 25 per cent of proceedings be donated to Born This Way Foundation and Elton John AIDS Foundation.
