Rihanna’s NSFW Instagrams Have Eluded the Nipple Police

Rihanna’s living up to her social media name. The singer, otherwise known as @badgalriri, shared NSFW stills and clips from her latest music video on Instagram — yet seems to have slipped by the censors.

The photo sharing app, which states in its terms and conditions that “you may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service,” appears to have overlooked the “Work” artist’s latest uploads. YouTube posted the music video with a content warning, asking users to sign in and confirm they’re 18 or over before streaming.

In the images from “Needed Me,” Rihanna’s clothed, wearing a white sheer robe with nothing underneath but a thong. She accessorized with a pearl choker and a pendant in the shape of Africa.

Rihanna’s no stranger to posing semi-naked in public. She recently told Vogue that one of her biggest regrets in life was not wearing a sparkly thong with a sheer diamond dress she wore to the CFDA red carpet in 2014.

Various celebrities including Chrissy Teigen, Chelsea Handler, Miley Cyrus, Scout Willis, and more have attempted to #freethenipple to no avail. An image generally gets flagged if enough users report the post as inappropriate.
