Kiernan Shipka wore $13,584.99 worth of clothes to this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The 16-year-old actress was keen to make her mark at the annual music festival in California over the weekend by splashing out almost $14,000 on three snazzy ensembles especially for the event, according to People magazine.

The blonde beauty uploaded a photograph on her Twitter account over the weekend of herself dancing at the Popsugar Cabana Club in a sheer pastel-coloured Dior tunic dress costing $5,500 that concealed a $2,200 top and shorts underneath.

She captioned the shot "Having a ball dancing at the Popsugar Cabana Club! @POPSUGAR (sic)."

The starlet adorned a $695 floral Rebecca Taylor mid-length dress with New Balance trainers at a cost of $109.99, a show stopping denim butterfly-printed co-ord set from Italian fashion house Valentino racking up to $3,980 and $1,100 Stella McCartney heels.

Meanwhile, Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio - who has been an avid Coachella fanatic for 12 years - notched up only a fraction of Kiernan's style expenses with her palm tree-print Saint Laurent bomber jacket costing $2,690 and Giuseppe Zanotti suede lace-up fringe shorts worth $1,125.
