Whitney Port Set To Release A Line Of Active Wear For Target

The City actress Whitney Port is set to collaborate with retail chain Target.

The actress - who is the founder of women’s fashion brand Whitney Eve- has also tried her hand at designing for Brands like Sportsgirl and Cooper Street In Australia.

Whitney is drawing inspiration from her long history behind the bar in ballet class for the collection, dipping her toe in designing activewear with her first US partner.

The star reportedly reached out to Target herself to pitch the idea, in the hope of developing their fitness collection.

Whitney describes the line as being both fashion and fitness orientated.

Fans of Port can expect an assortment of pieces that integrate the 31-year-old's love for “feminine and funky prints".

According to a target spokesperson: “Activewear is a growing area and we’re always looking for ways to expand our assortment”.

Whitney's activewear line is set to be released in the coming months.

Fingers crossed this new venture is going to spark interest and it works its way into barre classes all over the world.
