Cara Delevingne: It sucks when people compliment me

Cara Delevingne thinks it "sucks" when admirers compliment her professional pictures.

The 23-year-old star revealed she gets tired of having to explain to fans - who approach her wherever she goes - that her magazine shoots or billboard pictures are only "50 per cent" her and the rest is make-up and image processing.

Speaking to the newly launched Loaded website (loaded.co.uk), she said: "When people say, 'You look really good in that picture', I'm like, 'Well, it's 50 per cent make-up, Photoshop, the photographer, stylist and everyone else'. I'm lucky I get to do that and that's fun, but everyone has a bad day. It gets annoying sometimes, especially when you're eating or in the bathroom. Or the gym - that sucks."

Cara - who has moved further away from her modelling with acting roles in blockbusters 'Suicide Squad' and 'Paper Towns' - might soon have to look forward to fans singing her own songs back to her.

She revealed recently that she likes to write every day and has even penned her own music.

She said: "I wake up and write three pages of anything.

"It's good to release a lot and somewhere in those pages, you'll find a song or an idea.

"I start being like, 'I don't know what to write', and then I start writing and stuff like a character idea comes out.

"You feel a lot less crazy after. It can be a bit hard to do sometimes though.
