A pair of black leggings are usually a staple in the wardrobe, but this particular pair with an oddly placed hole have sparked some debate online.

The Bad Intentions leggings in black are being sold by online retailer Fashion Nova for $27.99USD ($40 AUD) on the brand’s website.

But while the sleek leather look is very much on trend, the placement of the ‘peep hole’ has some question whether the look is more ‘wardrobe malfunction’.

“Yeah no thank you,” one person commented when the brand shared images on the product to its Instagram page.

“It literally looks she’s left her fly undone,” another wrote.

While a third asked: “Why would you want a hole at your crotch?”

Surprisingly there were plenty of people who disagreed.

“The hole is at her belly button, not crotch,” one person defended the product.

It’s also had some rave reviews on the website.

“The leather is soft to touch and feels great on my skin,” one happy customer wrote.

If you prefer a more full-coverage look for your leggings, there are plenty of other options online that are a similar price or even cheaper. Here are a few we like.
