Saddle up, y'all! Fox's reality show Farmer Wants a Wife is back for a whole new season and this time, some changes are on the horizon.
Along with a brand new crop of farmers, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley will host Season 3 of the popular dating show. Country singer Jennifer Nettles previously hosted seasons one and two, but Fox officials just announced Williams-Paisley is taking the reins as the show's new host for Season 3.
The show is set to return on Thursday, March 20 on Fox with four new farmers looking for love.
Williams-Paisley, wife to country singer Brad Paisley, said she enjoyed getting to help play cupid on the show.
"I enjoyed being myself in this show, which was a new experience for me with my first unscripted series," Williams-Paisley said in a statement. "Because I'm a city girl who embraced the country life when I married my husband twenty-one years ago, I related to the allure of a farmer for these ladies. I really appreciate how dedicated this show and its producers are in helping these hopeful farmers and women find love."
Last season, fans saw three out of four farmers fall in love. And two of the farmers, Mitchell Kolinsky and Nathan Smothers, still remain happily in love in their relationships with Sydney Errera and Taylor BeDell.
And in Season 3, the search for love continues! Four farmers from across the county will host a group of single women who leave behind the comfort and convenience of city life for the charms and challenges of country living. The third season will dive deeper into the beauty and trials of homegrown love, and new twists will put relationships to the ultimate test. And only time will tell if they have the patience, spirit and adaptability required to be a farmer’s wife.
And if you want to catch up on previous seasons (trust me, you do), you can stream Farmer Wants a Wife on Hulu, Fox.com, or Tubi.
