Fans Think They Heard Taylor Swift Say 'Sorry' to Restaurant Patrons for Paparazzi Craze

Taylor Swift recently stepped out for a date night in New York City with boyfriend Travis Kelce, but their evening also included swarms of paparazzi trying to get in on the action.

The two lovebirds became the center of a paparazzi circus on Friday, Sept. 6, when they stopped at a Brooklyn restaurant and were surrounded by cameras.

But after seeing footage of the sighting, some fans think Swift, 34, might have even commented on the interruption it caused for other patrons at the New York City eatery.

In a video shared by one fan on X (formerly Twitter), the "Fortnight" songstress walked into the restaurant hand-in-hand with Kelce, 34, when it sounded like she said "Sorry about that" to someone nearby. (Swift's face was out of frame during that part of the video, so it's unclear if she actually did say it.)

While some thought it may have been a different woman's voice in the video, many Swifties online were convinced the 14-time Grammy winner was apologizing to the other patrons for the mass of cameras, especially since, as one user pointed out, there was a baby who was caught in some of the flashing lights.

"I think cause there was a baby," one user on X theorized, while someone else said, "I assume it's because her security was making people gtfo of the way so they could get in."

"We couldn't see her when that was being said so it could have been about anything," another user warned.

Regardless, Swifties wasted no time praising the "Mastermind" singer, with several fans labeling her a "Polite queen," for the alleged interaction.

"She is very polite with everyone," one of her fans wrote in the replies, while another added, "she's so considerate.
