One fan reacted to the clip, "God bless…Can I just tell you ladies how bad--s you are 🤯? Whole body goosebumps!"
"KILLED IT, INCREDIBLE 10/10 NO NOTES," said another, while more wrote, "Kelly is a literal queen 👑 Those high notes are EVERYTHINGGGGG," and "i’m sorry but this was the highlight of the day for me."
In the comments of Pop Crave's post about the cover, someone demanded, "Kelly get in that studio and record your version NOW," as a fan called Clarkson "THE GOAT."
Many people were impressed by Clarkson casually belting out the big notes of the song from her chair, such as fans who commented, "her doing this sitting down is crazy," and "It's crazy that she can do this while sitting! It really shows her skills and control."
"That is incredible talent to do off the cuff. I am yet to come across a song Kelly can’t do, or an artist that Kelly can’t blend her voice with. Amazing!" read another earnest compliment.

During the episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson and Lambert also performed the latter's song "Tin Man" together. Clarkson previously covered the song on her own and got a ton of praise, with Lambert admitting that people continue to send clips of the performance to her.
Luckily, fans of Clarkson won't have to wait long until she releases new music, as she has a new holiday song coming out this year.
