Yahoo Lifestyle Fans Joke ‘Houdini Better Watch Out’ as Robert Irwin Tries His Hand at Magic
Robert Irwin is trying his hand at a new hobby: magic!
The conservationist took to Instagram to show off a trick he'd been working on perfecting, and from the looks of it, fans are eating right out of the palm of his hand.
In the video shared on Monday, July 1, the 20-year-old hilariously attempted to complete an appearing card trick several times, to no avail. He didn't give up though, even after becoming jokingly flustered at all the failed attempts, and soon accomplished what he set out to do as he finally was able to unveil the card from its hiding spot and successfully catch it in his hand.
For the feat, the son of the late Steve Irwin donned the laidback, casual outfit of a grey t-shirt with jeans, complimented by a navy fleece zip-up sweater and paired with a cap and brown boots.
His location is unclear, but from the looks of it, he was inside a wine cellar, as several varieties of alcoholic beverages were surrounding him.
"Close up magic… Check ✅ Copperfield, you hiring?" Robert joked in the caption of the social media upload.
Fans in the comment section got a kick out of the clip, declaring that "Houdini better watch out."
"This video made my heart smile. It reminded me so much of your dad 🙏💖," one wrote, while his mom, Terri Irwin, commended his many tries: "If at first you don’t succeed…"
"Grace loves this so much 😂," his sister, Bindi Irwin, admitted, mentioning that his niece is clearly a big fan.
"Can throw half a chicken into a raging crocodiles mouth, can’t catch a card 😂," another comment comically quipped.
Meanwhile, two more fans chimed in, with one dubbing him "extremely impressive," and another insisting the trick was "greatness on a few levels 😂."
