Fans Declare Sophia Loren a 'Dazzling Beauty' on Her 90th Birthday
Fans wished the one and only Sophia Loren—an award-winning Italian actress known for movies like Two Women and Arabesque—a happy 90th birthday as she celebrated in high fashion with Giorgio Armani.
The luxury brand paid tribute to the star after her birthday on Sept. 20, sharing a clip of Loren looking surprised yet happy as a crowd of people sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
Loren looked glamorous in a glittering white Armani Privé ensemble with a matching statement necklace and earrings, while her hair was done in her signature style, with volume and pouf on the top and a slight curl at the ends.
"A very special 90th birthday celebration for Sophia Loren. For the occasion the actress chose to wear #GiorgioArmaniPrive," read the caption.
Fans were floored by how fantastic Loren looked at the celebration, with comments like, "Timeless, gorgeous and elegant 😍❤️🔥," "Forever stunning ❤️👑," and "ICONIC FOREVER."
"Sophia Loren, an actress of undeniable talent and dazzling beauty. I wish you all the best, Madame.👏," said another.
More called her a "real Lady," "the most beautiful woman in the world," "an icon," and a "queen."
One fan also joked about how great Loren looks despite just turning 90 years old, saying, "Well we Italians do it better ….even aging."
"Beautiful forever!! The only one !! ❤️❤️," declared another stunned fan.
Armani also shared a message from the designer himself to Loren on her birthday, posting a photo of him and the actress with the message, "Happy Birthday Sophia! 'Dear Sophia, with my warmest wishes for such an important birthday. I am with you from afar. I hope to hug you again soon.' Giorgio Armani."
Loren appeared to be doing well almost exactly a year after a fall in her home in Geneva, Switzerland, which resulted in a few fractures. She spent time focusing on her recovery, and a year later, she seems to have had a great time with friends for her 90th birthday.
