Fans Declare McDonald’s Latest International Collab ‘Should’ve Been in the US First’
McDonald's fans are endlessly frustrated by their favorite fast food chain releasing exciting menu items internationally that aren't available in the U.S.—from Canada's Reese's Chipits 'N Fudge McFlurry to The McChocoNuts in Paris.
So it's no surprise that a new Friends Adult Happy Meal in Spain has customers begging the brand to bring it stateside.
In a recent Instagram post, food blogger Snackolator announced the introduction of a new Friends-themed Happy Meal in honor of the show's 30th anniversary, sending his followers into a frenzy.

The Happy Meal comes with a choice of a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, McRoyal Deluxe, CBO, or McChicken, and includes an exclusive sauce called Monica’s Marinara (plus fries and a drink).
Of course, the best part of any Happy Meal is the toy. This special edition comes with one of six Friends-themed figurines: Rachel (holding a coffee cup), Ross (with Marcel the monkey on his head), Joey (holding the duck), Chandler (holding the chick), Phoebe (with her guitar), and Monica (dressed as a chef). The box itself is also Friends-specific, printed with illustrations of the characters.

"This is one of those 'adult Happy Meal' ideas that has to come to the states... right?" the influencer wrote in his caption. "The McDonald's x Friends Meal is currently in Spain and the six figures are all so well done - i love the little details and the Box is just such a great touch. Are you hoping the Friends 30th Anniversary Meal comes here?"
Commenters made their feelings about not being able to buy the Friends meal very clear.
"It should've been in the 🇺🇸 first," complained one person.
"I would so buy it in the states 😍," declared another fan.
"I need it RIGHT NOW," wrote a third Instagram person.
"Yes I need this I need all the characters just remember Joey doesn't share food lol," agreed someone else.
Another fan thought McDonald's missed an opportunity with the marinara sauce.
"Should have made Monica’s JAM!!!!" they wrote.
