Fans Are Calling New Pop-Tarts Collab 'Perfect'
The makers of Pop-Tarts are experimenting with an all-new way to enjoy the fruity flavors of its fan-favorite toaster pastry, and the upcoming release is even sweeter than what comes foil-wrapped in its iconic blue boxes.
We have it on good word that a recent collaboration between the grocery store staple and Nothing Bundt Cakes is set to release this August, and it's already being touted as "a very promising release" and a "perfect" menu item.
Foodie influencer Snackolator, who is known by their following of over 394,000 Instagram users as being among the first to test and tease new menu items, was tipped off about the limited-release days before it's set to hit participating bakery locations.
"Starting Monday you'll be able to get a Pop-Tarts Bundtlet from @nothingbundtcakes," the Aug. 13 upload to the picture-sharing platform revealed, noting the treat will only be around for about two weeks, or presumably, while supplies last. According to Snackolator, "This is the 'mystery flavor' teased at the start of the summer and I have to say it's a very promising release."
The post, which also included an image of the Pop-Tarts-inspired creation, described the sweet snack as "a strawberry bundt cake with @poptartsus baked into the cake which is then topped with cream cheese frosting, confetti, and a Pop Tart Pastry Bite."
The official Pop-Tarts account also confirmed the highly-awaited release, commenting on the post: "cake please ☝️."

Fans echoed the brand's excitement, with one admitting this was "Convincing me that I need to try @nothingbundtcakes."
"This looks absolutely scrumptious and I can’t wait to try it," a second confessed before suggesting the two companies work out another deal that re-imagines a different Pop-Tarts flavor. "I would love to put in a request for them to make a brown sugar, cinnamon Bundt cake of the pop tart flavor.
"I NEED this," another foodie declared before someone else exclaimed, "This is PERFECT."
Pop-Tarts' culinary innovation team appears to be on a roll (so long as you don't count its Halloween-themed treat), only releasing a massive version of the filled pastry last week that sold out in mere minutes.
Missed your shot at the Pop-Tart that's 73 times larger than the traditional pastry? Fear not, we have word it's coming back for a limited time on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at locations in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and online at shop.poptarts.com.
