Biebs slams One Direction for choosing same album release date

Don't expect Justin Bieber and One Direction to go on tour any time soon!

Yep, Justin wasn't too impressed to discover the British boy band were releasing their fifth studio album, called Made In The A.M, on the same date as his fourth LP, which is believed to be titled, Purpose.

"[They're] not really going on the road much, but we're talking about them now, so it gives them some promo, right," Biebs told New Zealand station The Edge.

"But, whatever. It's whatever. It's gonna be fun. I'm excited to see what happens."

"So that's probably why they did it. I think it was strategy on their part because my release date was first," he continued.

Last week, Biebs posted a video to Snapchat after first hearing the boys were also going to be dropping their album on November 13.

"The face you make when you come out with an album on the same day as Justin Bieber," the 21-year-old star said wincing into the camera.

Rumours have been swirling for some time that the Canadian crooner has had beef with 1D's manager Simon Cowell in the past.
