Ryan Gosling – who is currently dating actress Eva Mendes – is in talks to star in an upcoming Australian film ‘Dust And Glory’. If confirmed, the 31-year-old actor will be relocating to Australia for filming.IF Films reports, “Ryan Gosling is understood to be in talks to star in outback racing film Dust and Glory.”
‘Dust And Glory’ is based on the 1950s redex car race trials – a 10,000 mile car race around Australia. Gosling received a nomination for an MTV Movie Award for his performance in the action flick ‘Drive’, and he is also starring in ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ as a motorcycle stunt driver. Given his previous choice of movie roles which involve fast driving, it makes perfect sense that Gosling would be cast in a movie such as ‘Dust And Glory’.
Australia has attracted an array of A-list actors recently, including Leonardo Dicaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, and Christina Ricci. 'Twilight Saga' actor Robert Pattinson is also rumoured to be hitting Australian shores to film 'The Rover' in 2013.
