Family Guy Sets Christmas and Halloween Specials, Featuring Glen Powell and More — Watch Exclusive Season 23 Trailer

Family Guy may not be returning to Fox until 2025, but feening fans will still get their fix of the Griffins later this year with a pair of holiday specials on Hulu.

Streaming on Monday, Oct. 14, the Halloween special finds Peter and the gang attempting to defeat the reigning champion of Quahog’s annual pumpkin-carving contest “by any means necessary.” Oh, and that aforementioned champ is being voiced by star-of-all-things Glen Powell. No big deal.

The second holiday special is, naturally, Christmas-themed, but Hulu has not yet shared any additional details.

As for what fans can expect when Family Guy officially returns in the new year, Fox has shared this juicy logline for Season 23: “Peter accidentally exposes his inability to throw a ball, Meg starts dating the giant chicken’s son and Chris loses his earring in a Lord of the Rings-inspired escapade. Additionally, Stewie finds out his stuffed bear Rupert was made in China and makes it his mission to take him back there to meet his family. The series will also parody The White Lotus, as the Griffin family vacation at a luxury resort, where Stewie worries that his wealthy new friends plan to sacrifice him in a volcano.”

Some of those antics (and many more) can be glimpsed in TVLine’s exclusive sizzle reel, which you can watch above. Additional Season 23 guest stars include rapper Sir-Mix-A-Lot, Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live), Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy) and Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights).
