Fall Guys reveals the grotesque anatomy of its seemingly cute characters and fans are horrified: ‘Kill it with fire.’

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout revealed official information on what its bean-shaped characters look like inside and I just want to know two things. Who asked for this and why do you hate us?

Game developer Mediatronic shared artwork on the inner workings of the eponymous Fall Guys via the official Fall Guys Twitter account. I know I’m perpetuating a cycle of misery and suffering but I had to see this and now you have to see it, too.

Here are the Fall Guys according to Mediatronic’s senior concept artist, Tudor Morris.

Most players have probably been enjoying the game in blissful ignorance, unconcerned about how the sausage gets made, so to speak. Perhaps the furthest speculation would be that the Fall Guys are simply happy humans in suits or a magical race of creatures constructed out of good vibes and sunshine.

Alas, it appears that the Fall Guys are actually the human-xenomorph abominations in Alien Resurrection insidiously prettied up with a Pixar aesthetic.

Fans were understandably distressed, including Twitch superstar Ali “Myth” Kabbani.

Three-time Call of Duty champion James “Clayster” Eubanks could only utter one word in response.

Aside from the nightmarish Fall Guys skeleton, which seemed to be inspired by the work of H.R. Giger, Mediatronic declared that the Fall Guys are also 6 feet tall.

One replier pointed out that since the Fall Guys have chins, it suggests that we humans must share a common ancestry with the Fall Guys, since humans are the only animals on Earth with chins.

But before I end on a downer, there’s still some hope. Ash Kerins, the principal concept artist at Mediatronic, published a more wholesome anatomy than Morris’s terrifying take.

Yes please, Mediatronic. Please make the Fall Guys huggable, pillow-sized plushies made of friendship and love rather than the cruel laughter of elder gods and the sins of our fathers.
