Every Incredible Photo from Ryan Gosling's Oscars Performance of 'I'm Just Ken'
The Best Supporting Actor nominee took the stage with his 'Barbie' costars and Mark Ronson to perform the movie's iconic song and choreography
Ryan Gosling's performance at the 2024 Academy Awards was more than "Kenough."
The Barbie star — who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor — took the Oscars stage to perform the movie's hit song "I'm Just Ken." Dressed in a rhinestone-studded pink suit, Gosling was joined by his fellow Ken costars — Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and Scott Evans — and the song's producer Mark Ronson.
But Gosling's song and dance didn't stop at the stage. He stepped out into the audience to sing along with director Greta Gerwig, costar America Ferrera and Barbie herself, Margot Robbie. For the grand finale, the Kens rocked out with Slash and Wolfgang Van Halen as the audience showed their love. (Emma Stone even popped a zipper on her dress!)

Barbiecore Ken
Gosling opened the performance from his seat in the crowd, crooning into a microphone behind Margot Robbie and in front of a giggling Billie Eilish.
Stage Presence
He dominated the stage in a hot pink studded suit, paying homage to the film's key color and his character's bright wardrobe.
Dancing King
Gosling brought the star-studded audience to their feet as the song kicked up, and the Kens in black suits behind him broke out into elaborate choreography.
Can You Feel the Kenergy?
In addition to the professional background dancers, Gosling had four of his actual costar Kens by his side. Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and Scott Evans all suited up to reprise their colorful roles for the performance.

At one point during the number, the Best Supporting Actor nominee was hoisted up over cutouts of a Barbie doll's face.
Black on Pink
Rock legend Slash got in touch with his inner Ken too, accompanying Gosling with an electric guitar solo.
Crowd Work
Barbie director Greta Gerwig got to proclaim her Kenergy too when the actor stepped into the audience to sing with her, Robbie and America Ferrera. He even passed the microphone to non-cast member Emma Stone, with whom he costarred in the 2016 film La La Land.
Talented Trio
When Gosling returned to the Oscars stage, Wolfgang Van Halen had stepped up to jam out on his guitar beside Slash and Mark Ronson.

Crowd Goes Wild
After their three-and-a-half-minute performance was complete, the boys in pink bow-ties celebrated their unforgettable time in the spotlight. Liu and Evans embraced as the crowd gave the whole group a well-deserved standing ovation.
