Eve Hewson Says She Steals Dad Bono's Luxury Face Cream Whenever She's Home: 'He Is None Wiser'
In her Byrdie cover story, the Irish actress calls using her dad's Augustinus Bader moisturizer a "real benefit of our relationship"
Skin care is a family matter for Eve Hewson and Bono.
In her cover story for Byrdie, published on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Eve, 33, revealed that she often steals her rock star dad's Augustinus Bader moisturizer.
"Which is a real benefit of our relationship because his assistant bought it for him," the Irish actress said of the luxury product, which can retail for up to $300, "and he obviously does not wash his face and doesn’t care, and it’s just in his bathroom."
She continued, "It’s really expensive, amazing face cream. And so I go in there when I’m home, use it all, and he is none wiser.”
Eve added that her mom, activist and businesswoman Alison Hewson, isn't "into all that beauty stuff" but she shares a skincare obsession with her sister, Jordon Hewson.
"My sister and I are the skincare freaks, and whenever someone has something new, it’s like, what is that? Oh my god, what does that do? Should I get it?" said the Perfect Couple star. "So, I’d say I am the most skincare obsessed because I’m a Cancer. I’m into self-care and taking baths, doing face masks and watching a movie while hanging out with my cat and doing a laser LED light. I have every gadget you could ever think of.”

"For those of you who have just tuned in to my existence, I am asked about my privilege a lot," the actress wrote on X. "And I have always been very keen to state how much my father's name helped me get a start in acting," she said, adding that she's grateful for the opportunities that have come her way.
