Emma Roberts' Fashionphile Partnership Is the Ultimate Sustainable Style Slay
PEOPLE recently caught up with the actress and stylesetter at a Fashionphile event in LA where she played a rapid fire Q&A
Emma Roberts knows the benefit of shopping secondhand.
At a recent event for Fashionphile in Los Angeles, Roberts, 33, caught up with PEOPLE for a quick game of Slay or Nay. Of course, when it comes to shopping for pre-owned handbags — a specialty of the luxury accessories reseller — the actress gave it an enthusiastic: "Slay!" (How cute is that baby, top-handle Chanel she's holding!)
The American Horror Story also dubbed lending your friends your Chanel as a major slay. As for checking your bag on an airplane, though? It's a nay, says Roberts — but with a caveat.
"It's a nay but I do it all the time," she told PEOPLE at the Sept. 12 event. "It's a huge nay."
Another "nay" was given by Roberts to method dressing for promo tours.
Roberts was announced as a Fashionphile ambassador in May 2024. The star appeared in the brand's 25th anniversary campaign including a 30-second video that features her shopping for Hermès and Louis Vuitton handbags in Fashionphile's New York City Flagship location in Chelsea, New York.
The actress also curated a collection of her favorite pre-loved, ultra-luxury accessories to shop on Fashionphile.com.

"Fashionphile has the best selection of authentic designer items and makes shopping luxury more sustainable, which is extremely important to me as a consumer," Roberts shared in a press release. "I love resale because it makes you feel like all of your pieces are unique investments - which they are!"
