Emma Corrin Favors Sleek Lines and Subdued Drama in Custom Nina Ricci Bodysuit for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ New York Premiere
Emma Corrin put a subdued spin on dramatic dressing for the New York City premiere of “Deadpool & Wolverine” on Monday. The actor wore a custom design for the red carpet event, where they were joined by costars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
For the red carpet premiere, Corrin opted for a custom design courtesy of Nina Ricci by Harris Reed. The look featured a glittering bodysuit with sleek lines and details that created a shimmering effect on the fabric. The bodysuit was paired with an off-the-shoulder wrap and sheer black tights by Calzedonia.

Corrin continued the all-black color motif with a pair of pointed toe black heels. The Emmy-nominated actor accessorized with pieces of jewelry courtesy of Cartier.
When it came to the actor’s glam for the premiere, Corrin’s makeup, which featured a bold, deep red lip and smokey, was done by artist Gina Kane, while their coiffed hair, which featured a wet look, was done by Daniel Martin. Corrin’s entire ensemble was curated by stylist Harry Lambert.
Corrin’s look for the “Deadpool & Wolverine” New York City red carpet premiere was reminiscent of designs featured in Nina Ricci’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The designs by creative director Harris Reed, who joined the French fashion house in September 2022, were partially inspired by a 1962 Richard Avedon photograph of actress and model Suzy Parker wearing a tweed dress by Nina Ricci and fur-lined hood.
“It was really this like almost annoyed, aloof iconic-ness that she had that I fell in love with,” Reed said prior to the fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection showcase during Paris fashion week last March. “It kind of set the energy for what I wanted Nina to be.”
“Deadpool & Wolverine” stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as the famous Marvel comic book characters. As Wolverine (Jackman) recovers from his injuries, he teams up with Deadpool (Reynolds) to defeat a common enemy. The film hits theaters on Friday.
