Emily Ratajkowski sends internet into a spin with 'controversial' abs snaps

Emily Ratajkowski has sent the internet into a spin after sharing two photos of her incredible figure.

The 30-year-old model appeared at the CFDA Fashion Awards at The Pool Restaurant in New York on November 10th.

Emily posed on the red carpet in a long-sleeved knit crop top from Miu Miu with a blue shirt underneath and a matching navy skirt.

She’s since taken to Instagram to upload photos of her ensemble, which she said she knew would stir up controversy.

“CFDAs ! thank you @miumiu and congratulations @ninagarcia (almost didn’t post this bc I knew the controversy it would stir up but hey it’s my body and I’m not going to lean into the shaming! God bless!),” she wrote in the caption.

The comments came rolling in on the snaps, with one person saying: “Girl that stomach tighter than my Dyson vacuum”.

“Your abs just told me to go to the gym,” another person wrote.

Emily welcomed her first child, a baby boy called Sylvester, with Sebastian Bear-McClard in March.

She appeared on the Howeard Stern show to recently where she spoke about the comments she’s received from people about her post-pregnancy body.

“People were really angry,” she said

“I posted some video in pajamas that my company had just launched … [One woman] was so mad. She was like … ‘She wants us to know that she ‘snapped back.’ This is unrealistic pressure.’

“Listen, my body is different. I have a little extra skin still.”
