Emily Ratajkowski is no stranger to making the internet swoon, particularly since launching her own swimwear line Inamorata.

Her latest look, however, may take the cake for the most eyebrow-raising swimwear so far and has left a number of fans scratching their heads.

The 28-year-old posted a new snap to Instagram on Saturday morning, showcasing her daring Encinitas one-piece.

Though most fans had nothing but praise for the brunette beauty’s skimpy suit, one couldn’t help but point out a hilarious comparison.

“Borat style?” the confused fan questioned the star.

It must be said, the strappy look is somewhat similar to the infamous ‘mankini’ worn by Sacha Baron Cohen’s beloved comedic character in the 2006 cult-classic albeit a slightly more flattering version.

A number of other fans also expressed their confusion at the dimension of the one-piece.

“Makes no sense,” another agreed.

“Omg,” was all one perplexed fan could manage.

The swimmers feature a dizzyingly high-cut leg and plunging neckline, with a barely-there g-string rear.

A hit with fans

The majority of fans were bowled over by the look however, and flooded the comments with mostly positive feedback.

“What a babe, and a boss,” one wrote.

“Need it,” another wrote.

“Simply beautiful,” another agreed.

The suit retails for a whopping $230 for Aussies and makes no secret of the fact it is here to make a splash.

“Our most daring suit to date. 80’s inspired, a real show stopper,” the product description reads.

For the daring and cashed up, your chance to revamp the Borat look is just a click away.
