Radio presenter Em Rusciano has welcomed a beautiful baby boy.
Taking to Instagram on Friday afternoon, the 39-year-old shared a snap of her and her gorgeous new arrival, also revealing the bub’s cute name.
“He’s here!! Elio Arthur Rusciano-Barrow 3.5kg, totally gorgeous and practically perfect in every way,” she wrote next to the photo.
“Our hearts are bursting, he’s just magic.”
In September the star confirmed she’d be leaving her 2Day FM breakfast radio show after a “heart-breaking, hilarious, soul-destroying, uplifting, disappointing and bloody hard” time since beginning the gig at the start of 2017.
“The truth is when I found out I was pregnant, I made my mind up on the spot that this year would be my last year of breakfast radio,” she wrote on her blog.
“I had intended to work through until December, but as my pregnancy is progressing I’m finding it increasingly harder to fulfil the requirements of my job,” she continued.
In August last year, Em announced she was pregnant, the news coming just over one year after her devastating miscarriage.
In May 2017, the former Australian Idol contestant revealed she had lost her baby in a heartbreaking post on Facebook.
“About 10 weeks ago I got the most wondrous surprise. I found out I was pregnant,” she said. “I was going to announce it this Monday as we’d hit 13 weeks, but instead I will be at home in the most exquisite pain I can possibly fathom.
“Yesterday I found out that my little boy, was lost to me.”
At the time she said she and husband Scott Barrowhad decided to name their son Ray.
The radio host already has two children with her husband – Marchella, 16, and Odette, 11.
