Aussie model, actor and entrepreneur Ellie Gonsalves has been rather busy of late - but not too busy to drop by Build Series Sydney to fill host Danny Clayton in on her latest news.

The Brisbane-born beauty spilled the details on her Hollywood film debut alongside superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

It was Dwayne himself who approached Ellie to play the role of WWE diva Madison in the sporting drama Fighting With My Family.

“It was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life,” she told Danny.

“Dwayne is an amazing mentor,” she added.

Ellie also had a helping hand in the form of her partner, Ross, who is an ex-champion cage fighter.

“I’ve been in the ring with him a few times,” she revealed.

Ross has been by Ellie’s side for 10 years and she credits him for helping her get to where she is today.

“He’s had a big hand in my success, he’s always been so supportive,” she gushed.

The Rock isn’t the only celeb Ellie’s been rubbing shoulders with of late, with the 28-year-old snagging a spot in a recent campaign for Khloe Kardashian’s size-inclusive denim brand Good American.

“She’s such a hard-working, incredibly nice person who is so fricken funny,” Ellie said of Khloe.

She revealed that the two first met through their shared personal trainer in LA and the rest, as they say, is history.

Ellie also touched on her starring role in Australia’s debut Super Bowl ad in 2017.

The 30 second clip for NSW-based wine company Yellow Tail was seen by over 150 million people across the world.

“I just thought, ‘Holy sh*t this is going to be huge,’” she said.

The rising star is set to jet back to LA and has her eyes on a juicy action film role.
